Every body moves. A happy body moves with the right balance of effort and ease. This course will break down the fundamentals of proper form for better movement patterns. You’ll gain better knowledge of efficient anatomical alignment helping you get more out of even the smallest movements. You’ll also gain a personalized set of modifications to help you move into any movement modality that sparks your interest. When we move well, we can say yes to more of what life has to offer and that leads to happier, more fulfilling lives. This course will provide a safe place to explore your body's boundaries in a supportive environment so that you can move your body the way it was meant to move.

I used to think the only reason to workout was to look better. Because if I looked better then that must mean I was fit and happy. Newsflash - the way your body looks doesn’t tell you anything about how that body feels. Setting ourselves up to look like someone else is setting ourselves up for failure. The harder I worked, the more stiff I felt when just trying to relax. Pilates gave me the change in perspective I needed when it came to movement and my body: it’s not about how I look but how I feel. How we move informs how we experience the world. If movement usually equals pain, injury, exhaustion - something’s off. Understanding how to move efficiently means you’ll move more safely through this world. That only builds confidence in your desire to say ‘yes’ to more experiences. A well-lived life happens when we take care of our bones, muscles, and minds. Learning how to understand good form leads to better movement and better movement leads to stronger bodies which leads to happier people. I’m here to nurture people’s bodies into happier lives.

Follow along with drills and exercises and note which modifications your body needs.
